Starting my blog
Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:37PM I have been on and off this decision to go public about my ordeal. From suffering through this quietly, I have created a vacuum where I couldn't breathe anymore. I have been finding hair-raising data and wanted to share it with the world, as well as the horror of all of my own experiences and the society's reaction to each of them - so that I can help others.
On my birthday, February 6th, I finally gathered the courage to do it - to be reborn as new. And here is my dream - I hope that one day this blog will be extinct. I hope that one day we won't need what I'm doing, because we won't have a problem of children's sexual abuse anymore. You might call me unrealistic and a dreamer, and you will be right, I am, but life doesn't make sense to me otherwise - this is my life's mission now.

Congratulations, Ksenia!
Another woman who has gone public is Tara Hardy, one of the finest poets in Seattle. I saw her tonight at the Seattle Poetry Slam (which she won--again!). You can see some of her stuff on YouTube [ http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tara+hardy&search_type=&aq=f ], and I'd be happy to introduce you to her sometime.

P.S. Her "Peace and Justice" always brings tears to my eyes.
I am a survivor and thriver after many years of paternal sexual abuse and rape. I am new to your blog and am eager to explore your story here. Much love!
Sarah,
thanks! I checked out your blog, I love it. Can't post comments, though... :( How do I become a member?
Great blog! I admire your courage to come out with this!
